This past weekend was one for the anime history books at Toys & Tacos! We had the incredible honor of meeting not one, but TWO powerhouse voice actresses who bring some of our favorite characters to life—Caitlin Glass and Monica Rial.
✨ Monica Rial, known for her roles as Bulma from Dragon Ball, Tsuyu Asui (Froppy) from My Hero Academia, Hello Kitty, and the fierce Misaki Ayuzawa from Maid Sama! was a delight in person. Alberto was beyond excited to meet the voice of Bulma, a longtime favorite, while Emily was way too hyped to finally see the voice behind Misaki in person—Misaki is the reason she got hooked on Maid Sama! in the first place. And the cherry on top? Monica voices Hello Kitty, which made our daughter Scout light up with excitement (and honestly, it made Emily’s day too).
✨ We also got to meet the lovely Caitlin Glass, who voices Vivi Nefertari in One Piece, Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist, and many more. She was so sweet and welcoming—an unforgettable experience for our whole family. And yes… Alberto came prepared with his Vivi & Karoo Funko Pop for a signature!
